The Pastoral Pork Company was established in 1992 by a group of people who had a shared passion for pork, and a common goal to bring outdoor pig production to Australia.

These founding members each contributed unique skills and perspective to the company vision, with backgrounds in pig production and nutrition, to agricultural engineering and business expertise.

These founders laid the foundation for The Pastoral Pork Company and the Otway Pork brand, with an unwavering dedication to animal welfare, sustainability and delivering an exceptional product. Although our operations have expanded, this dedication remains the driving force behind everything we do.

Today, all the people behind Otway Pork, from farmers in Victoria’s Western District to butchers and stockists nationwide, embody The Otway Way with pride.
