Ingredients

  • 500g Otway Pork loin steaks, cut into 1cm-thick slices
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves or 2 teaspoons garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons peanut or vegetable oil
  • 1 bunch broccolini, halved crossways and stems halved lengthways
  • 2 carrots, peeled and very thinly sliced
  • Rice, sweet chilli sauce, and coriander leaves (if liked), to serve

Method

  1. Pat pork dry with paper towel. Combine sesame oil, garlic and ginger in a bowl. Add pork. Stir pork to coat in mixture. Set aside for 10 minutes.

  2. Combine soy sauce and honey in a bowl. Set aside.

  3. Heat a wok over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil and swirl around the wok. Stir-fry pork in 2 batches for 2-3 minutes or until just cooked through. Transfer to a bowl.

  4. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon oil in the wok. Add broccolini. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add 2 teaspoons water. Quickly cover and cook for 30 seconds or until vibrant.

  5. Add pork and juices, carrots and the soy sauce mixture. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until hot.

  6. Serve with rice, sweet chilli sauce and coriander leaves (if liked).
